PRACTICS Infopoints

PRACTICS Infopoints are conceived as Cultural Mobility Contact Points. They are first entry-points to a country for cultural professionals and their task is to offer user-friendly information to both foreign cultural workers who want to work in the country in which the PRACTICS Infopoints are based and to national cultural workers who want to work in another EU-country.

Their objective is to offer concrete administrative support to help artists and cultural workers overcome obstacles in pursuing an international career. This involves answering questions, providing handbooks and advising on legal, fiscal and social issues... and organising training events in their countries.

The 4 organisations piloting the PRACTICS Infopoints during the course of the project (2009 - 2011) are:

    PRACTICS Wales

Arts Council of Wales/Wales Arts International, UK

In addition, the consultants of Kunstenloket can be contacted by phone on Monday and Thursday afternoons and will answer short and practical questions. If artists and organisers have complex queries and problems they can make an appointment with the consultants.

From its central office in Barcelona, Interarts works, through a network of solid alliances with local agents, in different geographic areas, mainly in Europe, the Americas and Africa.
